Terms of service
1. Please be aware that each of these pictures/sculptures are unique works of art. They are not factory made items and quality will vary.
2. Some of the materials are delicate and susceptible to high heat, excessive humidity, water spillage, chemicals sprays like polish and rough handling. Where possible and appropriate the works are coated with an acrylic gel, polyurethane or similar protective coating, no guarantees are offered for their effectiveness. Watercolours are not similarly coated and are consequently very fragile. Sculptures are delicate and may be liable to overturn. In some cases we recommend putting a weight inside or on the stand to improve stability please use your best judgement. Paint colours may fade and materials may warp if in direct sunlight.
3. The works are provided without mounts, frames or means of hanging.
4. Where possible and appropriate all works are labelled with the artist’s name, date and title on the reverse.
5. All sizes are given in millimetres and are approximate.
6. Some works need to be cropped after delivery for mounting and framing, this is of course your choice, the size stated is therefore only indicative of what the artist had in mind as the finished size.
7. Refunds will not be made once the work is dispatched. If there are any problems in transit they will be the responsibility of the carrier. The artist accepts no liability for loss or damage in transit.
8. Replacements and substitute works cannot be offered under any circumstances.
9. We promise to carefully package the work for handling with suitable and reasonable care. The packaging is not suitable to be left in the rain on the doorstep. Please ensure they are received by a responsible person and stored in the dry on receipt.
10. All parcels will be tracked and need to be signed for.
11. The “To Buy” price includes post and packaging within the UK. If the delivery address is outside the UK an additional charge may apply please email petersavile@hotmail.com for details.
12. Copyright is retained by the artist. The works may not be copied, photographed,
reproduced, published, printed or reprinted for onward sale without the express permission of the artist in writing. If permission is given a royalty fee will apply, for details please email petersavile@hotmail.com . The express permission of the artist is also required if you wish to display the work to the public.
13. The studio is only staffed part time. Generally we will answer an email within 48 hours. Dispatch in fulfilment of an order can typically take 14-21 days. If its likely to be more than 28 days we will notify you for your agreement.
